4D schedules are powerful visual tools for phasing and communicating planned project work to a variety of audiences, including project stakeholders and those responsible for executing the work.

These graphically rich and animated models represent the planned schedule sequence set against time. They are used to analyze schedule accuracy and “what if” scenarios, exposing details like out-of-sequence work or scheduling conflicts between multiple trades.

4D schedules can be generated from 2D or 3D models created in CADD and computer modeling systems. Schedules and activity data can also be imported from and exported to systems like Primavera, SureTrak and Microsoft Project.
